LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres win the award for our brightest ever website. The branding team did an amazing job at conveying the fun and excitement of the attractions, so we were excited to bring this to life online.
The rebranded site that's currently live is our third iteration, with the first LDC site that we built being our first responsive site.
We used Umbraco as the CMS for the site, and it's been able to scale and adapt to all the various languages and local needs for sites in America, Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2020, Merlin underwent large senior management changes and brought all websites in-house. That's when we waved farewell to most of the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre websites, but the site we created is still used in China to help market the Shanghai attraction.
