Bodmin Jail

Bodmin Jail was transformed into a leading immersive experience in 2020.  This is when we started working together, with us creating a bespoke website as they got ready to open the new attraction.   In 2025 they moved over to our LOOP platform to level up their online capabilities once more.

From A Bespoke Site to LOOP

Bespoke sites typically have a 5 - 7 year lifespan, at which point they normally need larger updates or costly rebuilds.  Bodmin Jail were approaching this milestone, with the additional complication of a rebrand to manage at the same time.

This seemed like a perfect opportunity to highlight the benefits of LOOP's ongoing improvement model to them.

  • 50+ modules tailored to attractions and heritage venues like them
  • An ever-evolving platform that always stays up-to-date
  • Flexible, intuitive CMS that they were already familiar with them

Fortunately they were convinced, and far from having to compromise to 'fit into LOOP' the new site was significantly better, with more features, flexibility and ongoing updates to bring the jail to life online...

“We needed a website to show just how dynamic history can be - it’s our gateway to our customers. We’ve found our visitor number bookings have increased hugely through the website - it’s a much easier visitor journey for them.”
