UX Ninja

We are seeking an experienced UXer and business analyst that can translate client requirements into prototypes and demos for the client and project teams.

Our new UX Ninja will be responsible for capturing client requirements, thinking through feature specifics and definining customer journeys and features with best-practice user experience techniques.

  • Remote work fine
  • Full time preferred, but part time options considered (min. 3 days per week) 


Key Accountabilities

  • Create knock-out site UX demos and prototypes that delight the clients and demonstrate that we understand their needs.
  • Ensure accuracy of estimates by creating accurate UX designs that the client can approve
  • Ensure we hit project margins by liaising with the teams and capturing detailed feature requirements
  • Demonstrate client care/understanding with info gathering and stakeholder interviews

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Interpret business briefs, data and qualitative feedback
  • Create awesome end sites/products for clients that drive conversions
  • Rock solid UX briefs and prototypes for dev/teams to build from
  • Create site structures, diagrams, wireframes
  • Gather technical requirements and factor into prototype documentation
  • Plan and conduct user / client research
  • Create user stories, persona, storyboards
  • Create prototypes and wireframes
  • Carry out usability testing
  • Map out phases and ongoing feature development / improvements


Essential experience or characteristics

  • Logical, problem-solving technical mindset
  • Great at interpreting briefs and coming up with solutions for clients
  • Wireframing
  • Up-to-date with key tech and trends
  • Understanding of UX/UI best practices
  • Details focused
  • Creative and analytical approach
  • Understanding of interaction design principles
  • Good communicator to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin and OmniGraffle
  • Business know-how: Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
  • Experience designing and building mobile-first websites 


Nice to haves

  • Basic knowledge of key psychological principles
  • Attraction marketing experience
  • CMS knowledge of Wordpress
  • CRO principles
  • Proven split test results/improvements
  • Agency experience
  • Experience with API integration planning


  • UX: 3 years (Required)
  • Agency-side experience would be helpful
  • Ideally experienced in leisure/tourism/attractions or ticket booking user journeys
