Our approach to life + business

We like to keep things simple; do great work, have fun, make money. Sure, we do lots of cool stuff, but our real goal is to make you a hero!

1. Do great work

The best way for us to look good is to make you look good.

(And that's pretty important because almost all Semantic's projects come through personal recommendations or repeat business).

In ten years we've never advertised. We let our work, reputation for service and simple guarantee (see right) do our advertising for us. It's easier.

2. Goof off

Well, work isn't everything. We don't come into the office to have a horrible time (and we're guessing you don't either).

We believe life is something to be enjoyed - even at work - especially at work. And not just for us, for you, and for your customers/clients/users.

We don't believe business is war - sorry Sir Alan - and if you do we probably aren't the team for you. No hard feelings, there are loads web agencies out there who will be only too happy to agree with you.

We have families like you, friends like you, and lives outside work... like you. We think that makes us better when we are here. If you agree, read on.

3. Make money

Clarification! Business may not be war... but it is business.

At the heart of all successful web projects are some pretty fundamental questions; scope, cost, success criteria, profit, measurement, return on investment etc?

The Semantic project began more than 10 years ago, and we understand what it means to run a successful business. It may be fun, but it's not a game.

And now, of course, the web, has become a critical part of your engine, be it for sales, growth, distribution, branding, good works or whatever.

Whatever you need, we understand that business is about results. A good web site delivers, and now it is easier than ever to measure that delivery.
