Postcard from Prague

22 June 2007

As some of you know Mike and I were lucky enough to visit Prague last weekend. If you've been you'll know that it is a great city of contrasts. If you haven't been here's a pic to whet your appetite.

Semantic Takes Flight

09 June 2007

On our way back from stunning Warwick Castle on Wednesday we dropped in to see our friends at Airkix. Here's what happened next... all in the name of research!

Thanks to Chris for shooting and editing the video. Thanks to Simon, Trevor, Alan and Andy at Airkix for letting us play. Can't wait to go again.

Sprouts and logos

06 June 2007

I hated sprouts when I was a kid, and then something strange happened. Overnight I began to love their sheer awfulness. There is nothing else, anywhere, that tastes even remotely like a sprout. They sit next to all the other perfectly behaved vegetables, waiting to rip out your taste buds and stuff them down your neck. They are utterly unapologetic... they literally make my wife sick.

And there's something else. Sprouts don't leave many people on the fence, they are right up there with Marmite and Margaret Thatcher, loved or hated. And, whether you love them or hate them, you know them.

On Monday the 2012 Olympic Committee launched their new brand, and almost everyone seems to hate it. As of this moment 32,833 have signed a petition to get it struck from the face of the earth.

I think it may be a sprout.
