Blog > New site design..?

31 December 2005

Well 'new' is probably a bit strong. Back in 2004 Mike worked up a new look and feel for the Semantic site based on the current layout, but something much cleaner.

After posting about the 'long slow death' yesterday I went back and tinkered with it to make myself feel better. (My son is pretty sick at the moment so I am stuck at home without much to do... in case you think it is very sad to be working while on holiday).

Anyway, I am wondering whether we can get the new look and feel up... which is pretty mad considering all the other stuff we need to focus on in Q1, but still I wonder. It would be great to start the year with something fresh.

Essentially we would dump all of the Lab areas and anything else which is horribly out of date... and just focus on the basic pages. It's a plan... but I guess it will depend on what greets me on Tuesday.

Pssst... over here!

Hi there. Thanks for visiting Semantic's old blog. Yep, that's right... this is an archive of stories from December 2005 and June 2010.

Our wit and wisdom now lives at blog.semantic.co.uk.

(Which is not to say that there's plenty worth reading here... you lucky devil.)
